SAP’s sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) focus is an outgrowth of our vision to help the world run better and improve people's lives. SAP believe social, environmental, and economic activities and performance are interrelated – each creating tangible impacts on the others. Our efforts focus on creating a sustainable future for SAP, our customers, and society.
SAP publishes its Sustainability report based on the GRC standards each year. This used to be a pre-scripted PDF document that was non-interactive and was only available for download or in printed form.
Why Drupal was chosen
SAP needed a flexible and scalable content management system that could handle a large number of pages, content types, and permission levels, while providing flexibility for users and editors. Additional factors included the large number of contributed modules and integrations with third-party systems.
Goals, requirements, and outcome of the project
Develop flexible, socially integrated and interactive report that should have option to view reports of each year, understand SAP’s priorities in sustainability, and interact with multiple reports using media to understand the amount of Carbon impact when various parameters under SAP’s report changes.
